Cycle Closer to Nature is their latest game and an opportunity to jump on your bike, get some exercise and explore wild places. A little like a treasure hunt, Cycle Closer to Nature involves reading challenges to complete on the MissionExplore.net website before going outdoors to complete them. In each city these are spread along National Cycle Network routes.
Some of the mission activities you can do locally include:
searching for where photos have been taken,
Daniel Raven-Ellison from Mission:Explore explains that “this new game is all about exploring outdoors and discovering nature. Children who take part won’t just enjoy themselves but also get some exercise, enjoy traffic-free cycle paths and connect with nature in new ways.”
Cycle Closer to Nature has been made with the support of Arla’s Kids Closer to Nature Campaign, Sustrans, the Technology Strategy Board, Ideas in Transit and Ordnance Survey.
