URBAN EARTH(ISH): #PORTLAND

July 28, 2011

On Wednesday I’m going to be setting out with a cool group from National Geographic Education to walk across Portland, Oregon. It’s a 22km walk that reflects the size of the city and we will be going through a wide range of places… interestingly we are walking a very straight walk making it an URBAN EARTH(ISH) walk because the route does to mirror patterns of deprivation.

Check out the route here.

If you are in Portland and want to come along we’d love to have you with us. Just get in touch through this post.

Hope the walk, and the rest of the conference goes well Dan…
