Glastonbury Explorer Eyes
July 1, 2010
One of the workshops we did at Glastonbury focussed on painting eyes and ears on bodies to encourage children to explore in different ways. Eyes were very popular as kids wanted to see over crowds, around corners and behind themselves. Reuben loved these hands we painted on him. As it happens, his dad (Simon) is doing some stunning geography work with kids too.
Menah did some outstanding mask painting and body mapping revealing hidden feelings, contours, habitats and things hidden by skin.
We will be doing much more of this kind of thing at the Secret Garden Party at the end of July.
