The Geography Camp
The Geography Collective presents
The Geography Camp
18.11.2011 – 20.11.2011
Medway, Kent
The Geography Camp is a kind of sleepover for people who like geography. The principle behind the weekend is very simple: bring together a healthy number of geographers and then shake things up. We know there will be outcomes, but we have no idea what they will be… and we think that’s interesting, exciting and fun all at the same time.
As a camper you can expect to get up to:
-
missions, challenges, scavenging, hiding, gaming and playing,
-
debating, discussing and conducting thought experiments,
-
networking, collaborating and acting,
-
making, shaping, innovating, sharing and and creating,
- chatting, lounging and chilling.
Over two nights you will discover and then leave with new geography energy, friends, tools, thinking, ideas and possibly even more.
In return for your investment of £89 (including VAT), you will recieve:
-
all of the above and,
-
2 nights in shared accomodation,
-
food including cooked meals,
-
all equipment and resources,
-
immortal membership of a society that we will make up over the weekend,
-
a certificate of sorts.
If you are open minded and enjoy geography this is an event not to be missed. Sign up here!
